Complex PTSD came to be included in ICD-11 as an official diagnostic criterion. This decision paved the way for patients with complex PTSD to receive treatment. From now on, it will become important to give appropriate treatment. Complex PTSD is a trauma caused by continuous or long-term exposure to severe stressors such as abuses or abandonments by those responsible for childcare at the vulnerable years of childhood. In order for those suffering from complex PTSD to recover, their trauma needs to be eliminated, their mental stability to be promoted, and life skills to be obtained. I would like to introduce a psychotherapy method named Holographytalk designed by the author and explain how the method can help treat patients with PTSD. This treatment technique is a psychotherapy that treats the trauma, stabilize clients by helping them to solve their problems, and enables them to acquire resources. It can be applied, in particular, to complicated PTSD, dissociative disorders, substance-related or addiction-related disorders, and trauma-derived physical symptoms.
