Speech-language-hearing therapists assess and carry out language, speech, and swallowing rehabilitation for those with communication or swallowing difficulties. For those with hearing impairment, we conduct hearing tests, adjust hearing aids, and help with mapping of cochlear implants. For children, we facilitate their linguistic development. The key targets of our services include those with aphasia and dysarthria after stroke, hearing impairment, delay in linguistic development, and disorders in speech sound and articulation. We provide rehabilitation alongside physical therapists and occupational therapists, and our aim is to improve the quality of life for patients at public health and welfare facilities, educational facilities, and medical facilities.
