More than 28,500 psychologists are certified after the first national examination and will work in the mental health field. Certified Psychologists should be public, psychology-based, and well trained. Therefore, the training program for Certified Psychologist is strictly enforced. It is based on the theory of legitimate peripheral participation (LPP) (Lave & Wenger, 1991). Active learning is essential. According to LPP, reflective learning and partial responsibility of novices in real-world settings is important. In general hospital settings, novice trainees are expected to become a member of a team, performing pre-examinations for new outpatients or calming inpatients with limited roles and responsibilities. Academic training staff and hospital training staff should be prepared to work on contracts, reporting, supervision, and program elaboration.
