Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) was safely administered to a patient with major depression, cerebral infarction, cerebral aneurysm and high blood pressure. To reduce the risk of complications, we cooperated with the Departments of Neurosurgery and Anesthesiology for perioperative management. As demonstrated in this case and in previous reports, blood pressure control is important for safe treatment.
