For good therapeutic relationship, adequate case conceptualization is essential, and clinicians should try to understand both symptoms and resilience of patients.
Furthermore, clinicians should displays a satisfactory degree of warmth, concern, confidence, genuineness, and professionalism, organize a session and use time adequately, collaborate with a patient, ask enough questions to help a patient widen his/her points of view, and elicit and respond verbal and non-verbal feedback from patients during a session.
